Hat-Ology at Palazzo Morando in Milan

The exhibition, curated by her friend, milliner Stephen Jones, guides the visitor through the late editor's life one hat at a time - from a McDonald's baseball cap, to a Chanel Haute Couture Design.

The setting of the installation, entitled Hat-ology , will be designed in the style of her appartment - to give a real flavour of how Piaggi lived. The display , in association with the Mayor of Milan and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), opened to the public on September22 to coincide with Milan Fashion Week, and will remain open until November 30.
