Bailey will be the new Burberry

The Ahrendts in Apple assume the role of senior vice president of retail and online stores, reporting directly to CEO Tim Cook. The colossus created by Steve Jobs is no stranger to recruit managers from fashion. In fact, last July called Paul Deneve, former CEO of Yves Saint Laurent, and had previously enlisted Millard Drexler, who was at the helm of J. Crew of U.S. clothing giant Gap and Ron Johnson, a former Target and JC Penney.
Today, Burberry has also announced that the first half ended with revenues of 1.03 billion pounds, up 14 percent.
