Pattern Making
The Pattern Maker is the professional who gives life to fashion creations, transforming the graphic idea of the stylist into a garment that can be produced on a large scale. His task is to prepare technical designs and prototypes of the collection, combining stylistic and production requirements, choosing the most suitable materials and fabrics in terms of their structure and conformation.
The intensive course in Pattern Making represents an ideal training opportunity for students who lack skills in the sector and want to gain a good level of training in a relatively short period.
Regular workshop activities will enable students to learn the techniques of craft tailoring and industrial pattern making, acquiring CAD design skills for designing clothing.
By the end of the course, students will have a good range of technical and theoretical skills which will enable them to enter the world of work, in the design or styling sector, or complete their training by taking one of the Master courses provided by HFFA.
