Fashion Buyers are fashion experts who are in charge of purchasing products for store distribution networks. Their job is to select an assortment of clothes in keeping with brand identity and a specific, targeted clientele.

Fashion Buyers play a crucial role and must possess excellent social skills as well as an understanding of current and future trends and the ability to interpret said trends.  Their most important responsibilities include the organization of purchases, analyzing and planning sales and managing budgets.

The Fashion Buyer Short Master’s Program develops students’ buying skills, enabling them to gain a vast understanding of textiles and materials, acquire an understanding of the production process and the amount of time involved in production and gain in-depth knowledge of this fascinating profession.
