Frida Giannini is the International Designer of the Year

Born in Rome in 1972, Frida Giannini débuts the world of Gucci in 2002 as handbag creative director. In 2004 she becomes accessories creative director and is now the sole creative director of the whole fashion company since 2006. This award substantiates her masterly work, which managed to combine archive traditions with innovative choices over the years, without betraying the craftsmanship vocation of the "double-G" Florentine luxury brand.
